Annual delivery of three winter breadth courses; ‘The Actors Process’, ‘Improvisation: Text, Space, and Action’, and ‘Acting for Camera'.

2023 | QUEENSLAND THEATRE | THEATRE RESIDENCY WEEK (Townsville) 

Bespoke delivery of a weeklong holiday workshop to high school students in voice, movement, improvisation, devised work, character development, and text analysis - in regional Queensland.

Delivering acting classes for Junior (stage/film) and Intermediate (stage), working towards an end-of-year showcase. Bespoke delivery of courses in voice, movement, improvisation, devised work, character development, and text analysis.

2022 | MEGAMIX SOCIAL | THE CHANNEL - ARTS CENTRE MELBOURNE

Operating educational tours within the Australian Music Vault (Megamix Social), serving methods in lyric writing and rock history.

2017 & 2018 | UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE | VCA - Music Theatre Department

Wrote and delivered a twelve-week academic exploration into the life and works of Stephen Sondheim.

2017 & 2018 | CENTRESTAGE PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL (Melbourne)

Delivered two weekly classes to the intermediate levels (10 to 13-year-olds), working towards an end-of-year showcase. Bespoke delivery of courses in voice, movement, improvisation, devised work, character development, and text analysis.

Dirk holds a Bachelor of Theatre Arts in acting (USQ - 2001)

and a Master of Directing for Performance (VCA, UniMelb - 2016)
